Haven Turquoise

The Haven Turquoise  bracelet was designed to  honor the memory of “Ellie” Sims. A remarkable young woman whose free spirit and magnetic personality touched everyone she met. Those who knew Ellie loved her zeal for life and ability to be unapologetically herself.  Ellie loved her family and friends with a fiery passion that was contagious. She was wrapping up her sophomore year at Florida State, when, tragically, on April 29, 2024, she  was hit and killed by a car while walking home from the library. Since then, her family, friends, and Alpha Chi Omega sisters, have lobbied for pedestrian safety  around FSU and Florida.

To commemorate Ellie's vibrant life, and to raise awareness for pedestrian safety, we have created the Special Edition Haven Turquoise bracelet. Every purchase will raise money to help others pursue Ellies passions. These funds raised will help support  the Ellie Sims Alpha Chi Omega Scholarship Fund and the Ellie Sims Endowment for Healthy Noles. 25% from every sale will be collected and divided evenly between the scholarship and the endowment.  

The turquoise’s  beads's blue and green hues represent Ellie’s true Sagittarious heart: independent, passionate, adventurous, and a loyal friend.
