This September, ElyseRyan Jewelry had the honor of being the centerpiece at Fashion 4 Development's 14th Annual First Ladies Luncheon at The Pierre in New York City. The room held First Ladies, dignitaries, and philanthropists from all over the world, gathered for one reason: to make a difference. And right there, at the center of every table, was a bracelet we made just for them.
A Bracelet Made for the Moment
We designed this piece exclusively for Fashion 4 Development, and every detail was chosen with intention. At its heart is a hematite heart, grounding and strong. It's strung with hematite beads that feel cool to the touch the moment you slip them on, balanced with warm gold beads that catch the light. And of course, it carries our signature ElyseRyan charm. We call it a Symbol of Connection. Hematite has always been the stone of grounding and protection. Paired with gold, it felt like the perfect way to say: we are strong on our own, and stronger together.
The Moment We All Stacked Together
Here's the part I'll never forget. At each table, the bracelets sat in the centerpiece, waiting. When the moment came, every guest reached in, took one, and stacked it on their wrist. Picture it: First Ladies, First Gentlemen, dignitaries, and philanthropists from every corner of the world, all sliding on the same bracelet at the same time. Different countries, different languages, different stories. One shared gesture. That is what stacking has always meant to me. By the end of the afternoon, the room was full of wrists raised high. Everyone was showing off their bracelet, comparing stacks, taking photos, and laughing. It wasn't just jewelry anymore.
